Case Study
Every Click, Accounted For
Ads were generating clicks — but no one could prove which ones generated bookings.
The Situation
Steady ad spend, plenty of clicks — but no way to trace a single one to an actual booked client.
The Challenge
The ad platforms reported clicks and impressions; the phone rang and the calendar filled up — but nothing connected the two. Every call looked the same in the system, whether it came from a search ad, a social campaign, or a friend's recommendation. Without that link, every ad dollar was a guess dressed up as a metric — impressive-looking reports that couldn't actually say what any of it booked.
The Goal
Connect every ad dollar to a real, trackable outcome — so spend could be judged by bookings, not by clicks or impressions.
Strategy & Approach
What we actually did
STEP 1
Call Tracking Setup
STEP 2
Conversion Attribution
STEP 3
Dashboard Build
STEP 4
Budget Reallocation Cadence
Unique tracking numbers were assigned per channel and campaign, so every call could be traced back to the exact ad that generated it.
Form fills and bookings were connected to the same tracking data, closing the loop from first click to booked appointment.
A simple dashboard replaced platform-native reports, showing spend, clicks and bookings side by side, not in three separate tabs.
A recurring review moved spend toward what the dashboard showed was actually booking clients, on a set schedule instead of a hunch.
The Result
Every ad dollar could finally be traced to a real outcome.
Every dollar spent on ads could finally be traced to a real, bookable outcome — not just a click or an impression. Underperforming campaigns that had looked fine on the surface got caught and adjusted, while the channels quietly carrying the business got more of the budget they'd earned.
